Poetry Workshops

Introduction

Reborn the Rose poetry workshops provide a transformative space where individuals can use creative expression to heal, grow, and connect. Founded by Kelly Amanda Lee, the workshops are inspired by her personal journey of resilience—overcoming domestic violence, complex PTSD, and a rare, life-changing illness. Poetry became her way to process emotions and reclaim her voice, and now she offers the same opportunity to others.

Project Purpose

The workshops are designed to empower participants through the written word, helping them find strength in storytelling and self-expression. Many individuals, especially those facing adversity, struggle to articulate their emotions. Through guided exercises and reflective writing, participants can process their experiences, gain confidence, and foster a deeper sense of self-awareness.

Workshop Structure

Each session is structured to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can: Engage in guided writing exercises to unlock creativity.Explore themes of resilience, healing, and empowerment through poetry.Share and connect with others in a judgment-free space (optional participation).Learn techniques to use writing as a therapeutic and empowering tool. No prior writing experience is required—just a willingness to explore emotions and express oneself.
