Voiceless Secrets: The Book

About Voiceless Secrets

Some truths are too heavy to speak, but they can still be written.

Voiceless Secrets is a raw and reflective poetry collection by Kelly Amanda Lee, created to give voice to the silent struggles so many young people carry alone.

Written with compassion and emotional honesty, this book explores the often unspoken realities of youth, anxiety, identity, isolation, trauma, and the aching search for belonging. Each poem is a doorway into what lives behind the eyes and beneath the surface.

This isn’t about perfection or performance.

It’s about truth, written raw, with hope, and from the heart.

More Than a Book — A Space to Write Back

At the end of the collection, you’ll find a series of interactive prompts designed to help readers reflect, respond, and write their own truth.

Whether it’s one word, one page, or one tear you didn’t expect, this section is yours, to be seen, to be safe, to begin.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need space.

This is it.

Who's It For?

Voiceless Secrets was created for anyone who’s ever held back tears in a crowded room, written feelings in the margins of a notebook, or kept quiet to keep the peace.

Voiceless Secrets is a powerful collection of raw, honest poetry and reflective activities that give voice to the silent struggles many young people face.

Written by poet and lived experience advocate Kelly Amanda Lee, this journal offers a safe space for teens and young adults to explore emotions like anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, and hope, without fear of judgment.

Through gentle exercises, Voiceless Secrets invites readers to reflect, write, and begin healing in their own time and their own way.

Because every young person deserves to be heard, even if it starts as a whisper on the page.

A Note from the Author

I wrote Voiceless Secrets, the book to reach the young people who feel unheard, the ones holding too much and saying too little.

As a mother of twin boys, I’ve witnessed firsthand the silence that young people often carry, not just in my own sons, but in their mates too. I’ve seen the quiet struggles, the unspoken pressure, and the way emotions get tucked away because there’s no safe space to let them out.

I’ve also lived my own journey through trauma, shame, survival, and self-reclamation, and I know how powerful it can be to finally find your voice.

These poems are pieces of that journey. My hope is that you’ll find yourself in these pages, and then find your own words too.
